Move over Jimmy, looks there’s a new sheriff (of superfluous record titles) in town!
Ryan Sullivan of Columbus, Ohio has recently beat Jimmy Fallon's previous record of nine different consoles played in 60 seconds by playing 13 different consoles himself in that same time frame.
Though it certainly sounds like an odd record to hold, the ‘record-takers’ still have an ample amount of rules in order for it to be valid. Record-keeping site, RecordSetter, has indicated that for this type of attempt to count, the person must make forward progress in each game played and each console has to be different.
Here’s the list of consoles and games that Ryan used to break Fallon’s record.
SNES: Super Mario World
Wii: Wii Sports Resort (100 Pin Bowling)
Xbox 360: Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition
Gamecube: Super Smash Bros. Melee
NES: Legend of Zelda
Dreamcast: Crazy Taxi
PlayStation: Gex
Genesis: Sonic The Hedgehog
Xbox: Halo 2
PS2: NamcoMuseum50th Anniversary (Rolling Thunder)
Sega Saturn: Revolution X
PS3: Tekken 6
Atari 2600: Missile Command
