As Gyakuten Saiban celebrated its 10th anniversary at an event in Tokyo, Capcom took it as an opportunity to announce Gyakuten Saiban 5. A logo of the game was the only thing revealed at the event.
The series, which is better known as Ace Attorney outside of Japan, has spawned multiple spinoffs and an upcoming movie by famed director Takashi Miike. A new game, Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, is also being developed for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is due for release sometime this year.
Lastly, Ace Attorney 2 and 3 are being remastered for HD and will join the first game on the iOS.
If Ace Attorney 5 doesn't come out for either the 3DS or the PSP Vita, heads are going to roll.
