Update:
Here are what some players had to say about the recent video drop.
Congratulations to the developers for creating a city that no longer exists, I can only imagine the work that must have gone into it.

That’s exactly why I play assasins creed games. For the HISTORY. I’m almost 50 years old and I still play these games as soon as they launch. As long as I still have my sight and able to play I always will. It’s a history lesson in every game. I hope to play many more in the future.

Being someone who loves history this one of many reasons why I love AC games. When I play AC Origins and go in the tombs of the pyramids you see all the gifts they bring to the after life. If you look it up you will see how ubisoft decorated the tombs exactly how they really were. The attention to detail is amazing. I’m so looking forward to mirage to go play in Baghdad!

Original Story…
There’s quite a large fanbase for the Assassin’s Creed franchise. We know that we’ll be getting a thrilling new installment for the IP this October. Players that are eager to jump into Assassin’s Creed Mirage might be keen on this latest trailer from Ubisoft. The developers offered a new video highlighting the upcoming game and how they were able to recreate Baghdad. Just as before, this upcoming installment is focused on ensuring players have an authentic location and environment to explore.
Each Assassin’s Creed game is centered around a period and location. That’s what so many fans have enjoyed about this series. You never know just where exactly the game will take you next. With so many different eras and locations that you can explore, it’s likely that you’ll get something new with each game. For instance, we went from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, following Vikings, to Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which puts players into 9th-century Baghdad. But again, just as before, the developers working on the game had to ensure that they crafted a setting that represented the period and culture.
Again, at the time, Baghdad was a pretty key location for the world. But unfortunately, very little remains from that period. So it’s reliant on experts to aid the studio to ensure that they are building something that represents the location. Likewise, it’s noted that players will also get to see some of the key figure characters that were alive during that time. This is similar to past installments of the video game franchise.
However, unlike some recent installments of the Assassin’s Creed franchise, we have a much shorter experience with this Assassin’s Creed Mirage game. Developers have expressed that they are returning the IP back to its roots. That means a much more condensed video game, unlike some of the past installments that demanded countless hours to finish. So when you start this installment up, you can pace yourself as the campaign will be relatively short.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage will hit the marketplace on October 5, 2023. When the game does release into the marketplace, you’ll find it available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms. For now, while we wait for the game to land in the marketplace, you can find the new trailer highlighting the developers bringing a 9th-century Baghdad to life in the video below.
