Yesterday’s rumor that a Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor 2 is currently in the works has been refuted, by no less than the source herself.
Yesterday, we reported on the game being listed on the curriculum vitae of actress Lauren May Kim. Kim’s resume includes Batman: Arkham Knight, Dark Souls 2, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, BioShock Infinite, and Mafia 3’s trailer.
However, Kim has reached out with WCCFTech to refute the said rumor completely. She explained to them that this was a mistake coded into the database of the website iStunt. Kim expressly stated that she did not do any work on a project like this. Even though it is listed on her CV, Kim states the information is completely inaccurate.
Our source posits that this does not necessarily mean Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor 2 is not being planned or in development. However, there is also no reason to believe that it is in production.
