A slightly more serious bundle this time round, with the IndieRoyale company offering a "lightning" pack based around Serious Sam. If you held off for a cheaper price on Serious Sam The First and Second Encounter over the Christmas period, your waiting has really paid off. The current price is around the £2.70 mark and you'll get: both Encounter games; Random Encounter, the RPG that wowed critics last year; Double D, the 2D shooter that always reminds me of the early Duke games; Kamikaze Attack, an action-platformer that was, until this IndieRoyale, smart phone exclusive; The Greek Encounter, a top-down demake of the series set in ancient Greece.
As always you can buy the bundle from the official IndieRoyale website and bid above the average if you'd like, bringing the price down for everybody else. The only real difference between this and a "proper" bundle is that this one will last a mere 100 hours. They're also changing the release schedule again, opting for one big monthly pack and smaller lightning packs to pad them out. The Alpha Pack, which has been on the coming soon section of the site since the very first pack a few months ago, has a more concrete release date as well, mid-February.
