Eufloria developer Omni Systems has announced that the iPad version of their critically acclaimed minimalist RTS will be out on the iPad in February.
After finding success on the PC and PSN, Eufloria is headed to the App Store with a few additions in toe. With new content and features, and a interface rebuilt from the ground up to work with touch controls, iPad version will be "the most comprehensive and enjoyable release of Eufloria to date," according to Omni.
No need to worry about getting nickel-and-dimed, either. Omni assures us that the release of the game will be fully functional with no in-app purchases, and paid DLC that hits in the future will be "actual extra content," rather than something they intentionally withheld in advance. On top of that, they're already planning a free update that adds a new Ambient Mode that eschews objectives in favor of a more relaxing sandbox experience.
If you've managed to miss out on Eufloria for this long, sounds like the iPad version is definitely worth trying out.
