Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Ranked Play Enters Beta With Season 3 Reloaded

May 3, 2023 by Dennis Patrick

Looking for more competitive matches?

This upcoming week we should get our hands on the Call of Duty: Warzone 2’s next season, Reloaded. This update is coming with a few notable additions for players once it drops on May 10, 2023. However, we’re finding out now that players who are interested in the update will find that Ranked matches will finally make its way into the game. Unfortunately, this won’t be the full finalized release. Instead, players can expect this game mode to drop under beta.

Today through the official Call of Duty website, there was a breakdown of what players can expect within the upcoming Season 3 Reloaded. This has been something teased and hyped up for a little while now. However, what we’re finding out now is that the next update will bring Ranked gameplay sessions. This is just to test things out right now for Call of Duty: Warzone 2. Currently, it’s only stated that the full Ranked game mode will not launch until some point in a future season. So this could be a beta we’ll be dealing with for a good while.

At any rate, we do have some insight into how tiers there are in the Battle Royale Ranked game mode. You can see the breakdown that is being featured right now for the game below. Likewise, you’ll get an idea of your Skill Rating required to reach the next level.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2 Ranked Battle Royale Tiers

  • Bronze: 0–899 SR
  • Silver: 900–2,099 SR
  • Gold: 2,100–3,599 SR
  • Platinum: 3,600–5,399 SR
  • Diamond: 5,400–7,499 SR
  • Crimson: 7,500–9,999 SR
  • Iridescent: 10,000 SR minimum
  • Top 250: 10,000+ SR

It’s stated that Skill Rating is based on your match performance. So everything from getting assists, eliminations, and just overall placing high in matches will determine your Skill Rating. As you continue to progress, you’ll be able to head into even more competitive matches. But since this is just entering a beta phase, we might see some adjustments being made for the game mode before it’s fully launched into the game.

Again, we’ll get this game mode when Season 3 Reloaded launches next week. But that’s not the only game mode players might be interested in. If you don’t recall, we also recently saw the return of the Plunder mode.
