There’s plenty of hyped gamers out there about the upcoming Ratchet & Clank video game. Today Insomniac Games has released a brand new trailer to showcase some of the story behind the video game and even the feature length animated film that is also set to release in the coming month.
From those who have played the original title to gamers who will be getting their first go at a Ratchet & Clank video game title, Insomniac Games delivered hyped gamers with a brand new story trailer for the video game that will also tie-in with the release of the feature length animated film.
The trailer was posted up on the official PlayStation Blog by James Stevenson, the Community Lead behind Insomniac Games. According to James, the development team is thrilled to be narrowing in on the release of both the film and game for Ratchet & Clank. Within the post, it’s stated that both the game and film will complement each other as the film medium will give a bit more character development while the game features more the action aspect between the scenes.
Additionally, the game is narrated by Captain Copernicus L. Qwark which will set the game story up a bit differently and allows gamers to see the storyline in a possible new light.
For now, gamers can pick up Ratchet & Clank exclusively on the PlayStation 4 starting on April 12, 2016, while the film is set to release at a slightly later date with on April 29, 2016.
