The last thing we heard about Skyrim's suite of modding tools, dubbed the Creation Kit, was it would be out sometime in January. As that deadline grows increasingly narrow, you might be worried that Bethesda might have given up on making their planned window.
Not so. According to the a tweet from the developer's official account, they're "still looking to have it out this month." Sure, it might not be the most concrete statement, but it's certainly more comforting than outright silence.
In December, Bethesda announced that the Creation Kit would take advantage of the Steam Workshop, allowing users to discover, install, and rate mods from one official, centralized hub, streamlining the process and making it far more accessible to the average user.
If you ask us, the Creation Kit can't come soon enough. There are still millions of Skyrim players out there without Macho Man dragons and rideable My Little Ponies, and this simply will not do.
