Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is Now On Steam

January 17, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

You can now pre-purchase Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning through Steam.

No one would've expected Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, an EA-published title, to make its appearance on Steam especially since a number of other EA titles were pulled off the service. Additionally, the publisher has been at odds with Valve about publishing Mass Effect 3 on the service.

In any case, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is now available for pre-purchase on Steam and it comes with three exclusive items for Team Fortress 2. These items include the Warsworn Helmet, Bolgan Helmet, and Bolgan Family Crest.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is an action RPG created by D&D author R.A. Salvatore, Spawn creator Todd McFarlane, and Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion lead designer Ken Rolston. The game combines various elements from games such as Darksiders, God of War, and Skyrim.

The demo of the game has also just been made available on Steam, so be sure to check it out.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is set for release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on February 7. That's next month!
