Bullfrog’s masterpiece Syndicate is getting released on GOG.com this coming Thursday. The tactical squad-based game is set in a gritty cyberpunk future not unlike that of Deus Ex.
In Syndicate, you take on the role of a corporate officer tasked with controlling a squad of four cybernetically enhanced field agents, performing missions for the corporation. Jobs include assassinations, kidnappings, industrial sabotage, and outright massacres of the opposition forces which include paramilitaries, insurgents, and rival corporations.
To celebrate the launch of Syndicate, GOG.com is setting up a contest, the details of which can be found at their website here. Winners will receive free copies of Syndicate.
