Bullfrog’s masterpiece Syndicate is getting released on GOG.com this coming Thursday. The tactical squad-based game is set in a gritty cyberpunk future not unlike that of Deus Ex.
In Syndicate, you take on the role of a corporate officer tasked with controlling a squad of four cybernetically enhanced field agents, performing missions for the corporation. Jobs include assassinations, kidnappings, industrial sabotage, and outright massacres of the opposition forces which include paramilitaries, insurgents, and rival corporations.
