Binary Domain, the Gears-y squad-based shooter from Sega's Yakuza Studio, will be missing its intended launch date by two weeks. The game was originally slated for release on February 14 in North America and February 17 in Europe. Now, Sega has sent word that those dates have been shifted to February 28 and 24, respectively.
To help us tide us over through the slightly longer wait, Sega has released a new story trailer for the game. Sure, it's a bit on the melodramatic side, but the futuristic Tokyo they've thrown together looks spectacular, and I'm fairly intrigued by the Blade Runner-esque humans-versus-secret-androids vibe they're throwing down.
On top of that, Binary Domain will be shipping with some pretty ambitious features, including branching storyline built atop a complex Consequence System and voice recognition that allows to issue squad commands through a headset. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how it all comes together once February rolls around.
