Some pictures and footage of Forza Motorsport 6: Apex have leaked early, giving Windows 10 owners a good idea of what to expect from this free-to-play racing game.

The footage shared a look at all six of the destinations confirmed in the initial announcement, and also revealed some of the cars players can expect to drive:

  • Golf R
  • Jaguar XKR-S GT
  • Mustang GT Coupe
  • Koenigsegg Agera
  • Lamborghini Huracán
  • Aventador
  • Atom 500 V8
  • Ferrari California T
  • Huayra
  • Bugatti Veyron
  • 650S Coupe

Unlocking cars requires collecting Forza Medals, but this is not exactly a microtransaction system. Rather, a car unlocks every time you earn a certain number of medals, and the medals will just keep accruing. Collecting medals is a simple matter of playing the Tour Races. A good number or trakcs and cars are available at the start, and you can get the 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition easily simply by visiting the Forza Hub. It does seem possible that you can pay to unlock cars without medals as well.

Cars can be painted and tuned up, but there are no custom upgrades, nor is there a livery editor. Tuning options are similar as they are on Forza Motorsport 6 on the Xbox One.

Tour mode is considerably different in Apex. Stories of Motorsport has been renamed Tours of Motorsport, and there is a new custom event called Spotlight. SPotlight challenges players to take on a specific car or track. Replays are available for both Tour events and Free Play. You can race whatever track or car you like, but on the flip side, there are no longer any drifting or tag events. You can also change the number of Drivatars, set laps, limit Drivatar aggression, and toggle collision mode.

Many menu options from the XBox One original are missing in Apex. such as multiplayer and Leagues. There is a Message Center, implying Forza Rewards and gifted cars will be present, and a Marketplace. Turn 10 has yet to comment on what the Marketplace is for.

Under the options menu, you can make changes to audio, video, HUD settings, and input options, as well as navigate to find help and view credits. Video options is where Apex truly shines. Here’s a sample of what you can modify:

  • render quality
  • resolution
  • VSync
  • shadow quality
  • particle resolution
  • car texture
  • mirror quality
  • depth of field
  • windshield reflection quality
  • track texture quality
  • MSAA quality

Forza Motorsport 6 was released on Xbox One last September 2015. Forza Motorsport 6: Apex will be released for Windows 10 this Spring. You can see the leaked footage and images below.
