Star Wars: The Old Republic has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records in the Gamer’s Edition of the longstanding series of books.Star Wars’ second venture into MMORPG world has achieved an extraordinary feat: the game sets a record-breaking effort as the Largest Entertainment Voice-Over Project ever with more than 200,000 lines of recorded dialogue performed by several hundred voice actors. Not only does it make it a far more ambitious recording project for any game, but also for any a feature film as well.
This feat is included in a two-page spread displaying 30 years of Star Wars gaming with interesting facts, figures, and new records from the classic franchise. The spread also takes a look at every Star Wars game created since the 1982 debut of The Empire Strikes Back for the Atari 2600.
