Here it is, a translated first look at Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition; we recently reported not long ago that it was something COMPLETELY different and, boy, It's certainly completely unlike anything else we've ever seen in the series before. The downside is that I'm still not entirely confident that this is something we'll ever see in the west – it seems a little too Japanese for mass market tastes.
Either way, it's a game that fans of both series will probably go mad for, and why not? It's on the rise, but it's not often that we see full games based upon crossovers and certainly not on games as big as Nobunaga's Ambition or Pokemon. The only real disappointment is that this is a DS release, rather than something that's taking advantage of the higher processing power of the 3DS. That would have been something I'd really be sore about them not importing.
Even so, it's not all bad news: we presumed that this was the game that Japanese mag Corocoro were going to be unveiling in their next issue but, that's not actually the case. So we can expect another Pokemon game to be announced soon and, maybe, just maybe, it might actually see a translation.
