Stardew Valley’s Creator Shows Us How To Be A Great Game Developer

March 2, 2016 by Ian Miles Cheong

Stardew Valley’s creator personally fixed this gamer’s problem.

Stardew Valley is the latest game to hit Steam and rule the charts, and with good reason—it’s a good game. It’s a great title not only because its developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone put a ton of time and passion into his creation, but because of how he treats the game’s fans.

Today, the developer received a crash submission from one of Stardew Valley‘s players, and responded to their inquiries on Twitter. When the gamer explained what was causing the game to crash, Barone instantly figured out the bug and uploaded the fix in a new version of the game before heading to bed.

The exchange can be seen in the screenshot below (via @ashelia). Take note, AAA devs!
