Microsoft has announced that Fable III will be coming to Windows PCs and the game will be released via both, Retail and digital distribution, but the latter(digital download) will only be available through the Games On Demand section of Games For Windows Live.
A few weeks ago, when the box art for the Xbox 360 version of Fable III was released, it carried with itself “ONLY ON XBOX 360 & WINDOWS” logo at the top which led to speculation that a PC version was in works but after today’s announcement the specualtion can safely be put to bed.
Fable III on the Xbox 360 will be available in Standard Edition and Limited Collector’s Edition. The Standard Edition for Xbox 360 will retail for $59.99/£44.99/€64.99 while the Limited Edition will retail for $79.99/£59.99/€84.99.
The Windows version will retail for $49.99/£39.99/€54.99.
The Limited Collector’s Edition includes:
