Epic Games has released four new trailers of four champions from their upcoming MOBA, Paragon. The gameplay clips are taken from the game’s currently closed alpha test.
The champions covered in these videos include Muriel, a caster hero with multiple AOE attacks, Steel, a heavily armored tank, Feng Mao, an agile fighter with fast moves and quick reflexes, and the damage-dealing Gideon, who uses high-tech magic to be a total badass. I know which guy I’m going to be playing.
For more on the game, Epic released another trailer previously.
Paragon was originally revealed last November and is Epic Games’ take on the MOBA formula popularised by the likes of League of Legends and DOTA 2 and gives players direct control over the characters. Epic says players can expect a wide range of strategic options and plenty of action as they take part with a large and continually expanding roster of new playable characters.
Paragon is set for release this year for both PC and PlayStation 4. Early Access will launch in spring followed by an open beta in the summer. Epic has been running a number ofonline tests, including ones that have allowed for cross-platform play between the two platforms. Hopefully, this means players can expect a smooth launch when it is finally released.
We’ve previously listed Paragon as one of our most anticipated third person action games of 2016. Check out the full list on our YouTube channel.
