Christmas Comes Early with Indie Royale

December 13, 2011 by Mat Growcott

The Indie Royale Xmas Bundle offers another set of games at a very reasonable price.

The next Indie Royale has been unveiled and is now available for purchase. The choose your own price (with restrictions) based bundle is now in its fourth edition and is currently offering Eets, The Blackwell Trilogy, Dino D-Day and Oil Blue. The Blackwell Trilogy (not including Blackwell Deception) is a remastered version – complete with new voice work and an audio commentary – and is appearing on Steam for the first time.

Honestly, if this was a Christmas present, I'm not sure we've been good boys and girls this year. I can't offer an objective critique of the pack because I haven't actually played any of the games, but The Blackwell Trilogy seems like the only gem. Eeets has been getting very mixed reactions in the threads discussing this bundle, as has Oil Blue. Dino D-Day has been getting slated and, after seeing the download is over 4.5GB, I haven't even bothered downloading it.

Either way, it's very difficult to grumble at such a great price so get buying, before the minimum spend skyrockets!
