Epic Games released a new gameplay trailer for its upcoming MOBA title Paragon, which is set for release later this year on PC and PlayStation 4.
The new footage shines a spotlight on Feng Mao, who showcases his melee-orientated fighting style and the power he can bring to the battlefield with his huge axe. You can check it out above. Feng Mao was also recently featured in another gameplay video along with Gadget, Kallari, and Rampage. Between the two, you should get a pretty good idea of what to expect from the character. Suffice it to say, he’s not a support character.
For more on the game, Epic released another trailer last week.
Paragon was originally revealed last November and is Epic Games’ take on the MOBA formula popularised by the likes of League of Legends and DOTA 2 and gives players direct control over the characters. Epic says players can expect a wide range of strategic options and plenty of action as they take part with a large and continually expanding roster of new playable characters.
Paragon is set for release this year for both PC and PlayStation 4. Early Access will launch in spring followed by an open beta in the summer. Epic has been running a number of online tests, including ones that have allowed for cross-platform play between the two platforms. Hopefully, this means players can expect a smooth launch when it is finally released.
We’ve previously listed Paragon as one of our most anticipated third person action games of 2016. Check out the full list on our YouTube channel.
