Help Veterans by Dressing Your Avatar

December 5, 2011 by Elizabeth DeLoria

Christmas is coming, and all those Disney cartoons taught me that it's a time for giving. Activision are making it even easier for you to get those warm and fuzzies this year by helping you to help real veterans with your avatar.

In a press release, Activision announced that all proceeds from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 avatar purchases will be donated to Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit organization that helps US Armed Forces veterans to get back to civilian life and find a career.

The American Special Forces and Special Ops Juggernaught avatars, which were previously only available as pre-order bonuses and in the Hardened edition, have been made available for just 400 Microsoft points each to get the feel-good ball rolling.

So, next time you’re dealing out head shots like some kind of gun wizard and talking about the relations you may or may not have had with your opponent's mother, consider grabbing some new duds for your avatar.
