EA have begun to list certain games as next gen according to msxbox-world. They report that games such as Fifa Street and Battlefield 3 have suddenly begun recieving the next-gen tag, perhaps hinting at a 2012/2013 release date. This follows months of speculation as to when the new consoles will be announced and, more importantly, available for purchase.
Of course, they may be reading a bit too much into it. The Wii U will definitely be out during that period and releases of Battlefield 3 and Fifa Street on that console is basically a foregone conclusion. It still seems odd that EA would class it as next gen then, rather than specifically Wii U, so this is definitely speculation that is worth paying attention to.
