If you haven’t noticed by now, Nintendo has been having a banger year, and their hardware as well as software sales have backed that up in the best of ways. Because they’ve released a lot of games and just about every one has hit a million in sales or well over it. Including games that many were surprised at like with Nintendo Switch Sports. But with a certain RPG now out in the wild for over a week, the next major release for the Switch is that of Splatoon 3, and not surprisingly, people are excited for it.
But they’ll be even more excited for it after Wednesday. Why? Because that’s when a new Splatoon 3 Direct is going to be coming out and dropping a whole bunch of news about the title. And we say a “whole bunch” not out of hope, but out of fact, because they said the presentation is going to be 30 minutes long!
To which you might say, “Why is it going to be that long?” Well if you think about it, we honestly don’t know too much about the game? Yes, the Twitter feed for the game has been posting about all sorts of weapons and abilities you’ll be able to use in the title, but that’s only one part of the equation. We still don’t know a lot about the hub area we’ll be in. What we can expect form the singleplayer mode. Or how about the new additions to Salmon Run that was teased earlier this year?
More than likely, there will also be new modes and events that can get a few more details as well. We also wouldn’t be surprised if they hold a Global Testfire once again to make sure everything is up to snuff for the game releases on September 9th!
