So, are you all “chilled” from San Diego Comic-Con now that it’s officially over? We hope so, as this means we can now full-on talk about all that happened without an “overload” of all the goodness that you were able to receive, and that goes double for all you Marvel fans given what you got. Not the least of which was new looks at some of the things coming up like the She-Hulk series in August.
The new trailer highlighted a lot of the unique characters that Jennifer Walters was going to connect with, and one of them was a very familiar person via the “Man Without Fear”. Aka, Matt Murdock, aka, Daredevil. After the Hall H panel, She-Hulk star Tatiana Maslany talked about how Jennifer and Matt are very similar in the comics, while also noting all the other people she’ll meet:
“Oh boy, I feel like we’re getting dangerously close to a black bag over my head,” she joked. “Well obviously, what Jen has in common with Matt Murdock is that they’re both lawyers but also, uniquely, they’re both lawyers who happen to be a superheroes, so they have that in common. Wong is a character that has existed in the MCU and knows her cousin. That’s the thing about Jen is that she, uniquely, unlike everybody else who’s origin story we’re exploring, she is someone who has something like this in her family already. So conceivably, she’s already had to listen to and deal with all of this stuff as a third party family member for years.”
Indeed, the new trailer enforced that Jen is going to be taking on the cases of those who are enhanced whether she likes it or not, how well that goes for her is something that we’ll have to wait and see on.
