Nina Williams is the latest confirmed fighter on the roster of Tekken 7 Fated Retribution.
The series veteran now reappears in surprising attire; a wedding dress, albeit torn at the bottom, missing the veil, and clearly packing heat. We have no idea if the guns add to her movelist, but if you’ve played against Nina, you know she doesn’t need it.
Nina has transitioned to Tekken 7’s simpler gameplay style well. Her characteristic fighting style, combining aikido grapples and koppojutsu strikes, looks as bone breaking as ever. Some of her moves have even picked up new qualities and effects. For example, it seems her basic Twin Palms attack can interrupt attack strings.
Last we saw Nina, she was working with Tekken Force, under Jin Kazama, and entered the tournament to protect him. It’s not known if she’s working for him, new people, or has new motives in entering this tournament.
Tekken 7: Fated Retribution is planned for release on PlayStation 4 in 2016 and will also be coming to Xbox One. Check out the trailer above.
