Blizzard has revealed two new characters for its MOBA, Heroes of the Storm. The two characters include Li Ming the Wizard, and Xul the Necromancer. They're both from the Diablo universe.
Li Ming is described as a flexible character designed for advanced players, with three core skill builds. Her builds revolve around Magic Missile, Arcane Orb, and Teleport, respectively. Li Ming is the final class from Diablo 3 to join the game.
Xul the Necromancer can summon undead creatures to fight for him in battle, debuffing enemy heroes with a variety of curses. He can also summon a bone prison to entrap his opponents.
Like Xul, future Diablo-themed heroes (if there are any) may be pulled from Diablo 2–though it's unlikely we'll see the Paladin, who has almost identical skills to the Crusader, or the Sorceress.
The game's developers at Blizzard say that they intend to release more themed events similar to last year's Diablo event, but will run them for shorter periods of time. The studio is also working on new social features, better matchmaking, and rebalancing to fix the stun meta, which is currently dominating matches.
