Prison Architect has been announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One with the port launching for consoles this spring, developer Interversion has confirmed.
The console version of the acclaimed PC game is being handled by Double Eleven, which previously ported Limbo and Goat Simulator.
"The team at Double Eleven approached us with their ideas for how to make the PlayStation 4 Edition and we were really excited about where they wanted to take it," Introversion co-founder Mark Morris commented on the EU PlayStation blog.
Included in the new version will be the introductory Prison Warden mode featuring pre-built prisons and the option to share and play other people's jails.
The crowdfunded game originally launched five years ago for PC and has benefitted from some 30 updates since release.
A new trailer below shows you how it'll work on console. Double Eleven says the game will cost £19.99/€29.99.
