Pokken Tournament Launches in March With Shadow Mewtwo Amiibo Card

First-run copies of the game will include the card.

Pokkén Tournament will be released on March 18th in North America for Wii U, Nintendo has announced.

The Pokémon fighting game was developed by Bandai Namco and released in Japanese arcades in 2015. A free Shadow Mewtwo Amiibo card will be included with first run copies of the game, placing the card on the gamepad will automatically unlock the character for use in the game. 

Nintendo will also be releasing the original Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow games on February 27th for $12.49 each. A special New 3DS bundle featuring pre-loaded copies of Blue and Red will be released on the same date in North America, while Europe gets three themed 2DS bundles featuring either Blue, Red, or Yellow.

Physical copies of the game are also being released in Japan, along with Pokémon Green.
