Pokemon Bundle Coming To US, 20th Anniversary Logo And Event Details Unveiled

The Pokemon Company has a lot in store, literally, to celebrate their big special day.

With the 20th anniversary of Pokemon is approaching, The Pokemon Company is rolling out the red (yellow, blue) carpet to celebrate the series' two decades of success. In addition to the red, yellow, and blue Pokemon 2DS bundles and New 3DS coverplates arriving in Europe at the end of this February, there's a New 3DS bundle heading to the US. Featuring Pokemon Red and Blue preinstalled on the device, it will also come with 2 coverplates, one of Blastoise and one of Charizard, and an exclusive New 3DS theme.

Below is the adorable 20th anniversary logo and a video from The Official Pokemon Channel with a few more details on the goodies in store for Pokemon fans. In the month of February there will be Mythical Pokemon distributions for Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy, Darkrai, Shaymin, Arceus, Victini, Keldeo, Meloetta and Genesect. Serebii reports:

Mew  February 1st through February 24th Gamestop
Celebi March 1st through March 24th Nintendo Network
Jirachi  April  Nintendo Network
Darkrai May Gamestop
Manaphy June Nintendo Network
Shaymin July Nintendo Network
Arceus August Gamestop
Victini September Nintendo Network
Keldeo October Nintendo Network
Genesect  November  Gamestop in the US (unknown for other regions)

There will also be a Pokemon commercial airing during the Superbowl on February 7.
