Today could be the day; the day that reveals all the plans regarding the upcoming Tom Clancy’s The Division mobile game. This is a game that has been talked about for some time now, and with the console version of the game stretching back to 2016, these talks have been long in the tooth.

The very reliable and well-known video game journalist Tom Henderson took to Twitter today to reveal some potential plans for Tom Clancy’s The Division mobile version. As you can see below, Tom tweeted a timeline for the universe that The Division series is situated in. The timeline shows that this mobile version was planned to come after some new content was added to The Division 2, which came out very recently.

This wouldn’t be the first time that Ubisoft has delved into the mobile gaming world though. The famous publisher has released many a spinoff game over the years for some of its biggest titles. Assassin’s Creed, Rabbids, Just Dance, and Trials have all received mobile spinoff games, and Tom Clancy’s The Division looks to follow suit.

This is a game that would fit perfectly into the world of mobile gaming as well. The Division is an online co-op game, right? How easy and fun would it be to play with your friends on your mobile devices? For sure, it won’t be the same because mobile spinoffs never are as impressive as their console counterparts, but that’s not to say it couldn’t be highly enjoyable.

Tom Henderson is known for his faithful insider knowledge, and with many hours in the day to go, we could very well be getting the news that was promised to us. If you’re not doing much today and you have time to keep an eye out for updates, then it might just be worth your wait.
