In the latest issue of Famitsu magazine, Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase, director Tetsuya Nomura, and scenario writer Kazushige Nojima have shared additional details about the upcoming PS4 game, via Siliconera.
While the interview touched on previously known facts, some new info has come to light.
Players will get to explore all areas of Midgar and the development team would like to further explore the characters of Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie.
Square Enix isn't sure how many volumes the Remake will be at this point and can't say anything about online features at the moment. The core part of the first volume is already complete.
The voice cast of the game is expected to be the same as that of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. Cloud's auditory hallucination scenes are being changed to make them more meaningful.
As reported previously, the game is being developed using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4, with the Kingdom Hearts team assisting the project.
