Activision has released an all new trailer for their upcoming FPS, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. The game is set to take place after the events of the second game, with the war in America at a critical counterpoint. Not to be confused with the old Call of Duty 3 title by Treyarch, the newer Modern Warfare games by Infinity Ward are arguably the definitive modern warfare FPS franchise, seeing competition from the likes of DICE's Battlefield 3.
The new game has a wave of attacks breaking out over Europe, and the heroes of the second game–Captain Price, et al–must venture to the old continent to make things right again.
The player will find his way across a series of theaters, including a hijacked airplane, an AC130, and an M4A1 Abrams. Captain Price kicks a lot of ass in this one, it should be noted.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches on 8th November, 2011. Be prepared.
