EA is encouraging Star Wars Battlefront players to sign up for promotional emails by offering a free in-game saluting emote.
Emotes work in a similar fashion to Destiny's, allowing players to communicate or taunt other players as the case may be.
Getting the salute emote is simply a matter of signing up on Battlefront's website. It'll be unlocked on all platforms connected to your EA account so you won't need to choose if you're players across several systems.
Those who pre-ordered the game have been playing the free Battle of Jakku maps, a DLC inspired by the upcoming The Force Awakens movie, with everyone else getting their hands on it from December 8th.
