A rating has appeared for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutants in Manhattan. The developer? PlatinumGames.
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANTS IN MANHATTAN, Rating: M, Author: PLATINUM GAMES, Publisher: @Activision

The publisher? Activision. This makes it the third licensed game PlatinumGames has been commissioned to make via Activision, following The Legend of Korra and Transformers Devastation. Activision has been generous, allowing PlatinumGames to bring these games to Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
Originally a parody comic book published by Mirage Studios in 1984, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles exploded into a pop culture phenomenon thanks to the 1987 cartoon. The cartoon itself was intended to tie in to Playmates’ toy series, and led to comics, movies, TV shows, concerts, merchandise, and of course, video games.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutants in Manhattan sounds similar in name to 1991 NES game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: The Manhattan Project. In turn, The Manhattan Project was very similar to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game. Both are side-scrolling beat-em-ups which, interestingly enough, heavily feature multiplayer. Multiplayer has featured in PlatinumGames oevre before, but they haven’t really made true multiplayer games.
Do you think Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutants in Manhattan will be PlatinumGames’ first truly multiplayer game? Do you think it will be more arcadelike, or more trademark PlatinumGames? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
