Anno 2205 is getting a batch of free content in addition to paid DLC, Ubisoft has revealed.
The studio says that the first of the free content packs will be released in January. It's titled Wildwater Bay.
In addition, two major expansions are planned for the game, Tundra and Orbit. Tundra is scheduled for a February 2016 release and will come out shortly after the free expansion. The paid DLC will add a new temperate Earth session to the game.
“This will help you to acquire additional coastal and mountain slots,” says Executive Producer Burkhard Ratheiser. “In addition, a new sector project will be available where you can solve the riddle of the abandoned underwater cities and meet ghosts from the past.”
The second expansion, Orbit, will likely take place in the stratosphere.
In the game, players explore and control the harsh environments of the moon and the frigid arctic as humanity has to find new ways to expand. Players also engage in hostile naval battles.
