Sega and Creative Assembly have released a new character trailer for Total War Warhammer.
The trailer puts the spotlight on Creative Assembly’s favorite unofficial Warhammer mascot; Grimgor Ironhide. In Warhammer’s own lore, Grimgor is one of the strongest characters and generals, famed for a fierce military campaign that saw him dominate other races and territories.
Grimgor only faced one major loss; to the human general Crom the Conqueror. His ‘Ardboyz Army is a distinctly separate faction from the rest of the orc forces, built solely around his personality cult. As you can see, Grimgor wouldn’t be out of place in Warcraft, maybe supplanting Rend Blackhand as the greatest orc general to rival series protagonist Thrall.
As this trailer demonstrates, Grimgor has ambition, and his pick of conquests from the Badlands in the South to the Chaos Wastes in the North. He’s also got a lousy temper, which is bad news for his underlings, but great for you, the person playing him.
Total War Warhammer will be released on April 28, 2016, on Windows.
