343 Industries has hinted at new gear in the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians DLC. The teaser comes at the end of the latest Halo 5 livestream, and was originally spotted by Design & Trend. The update includes new armor, weapons, weapons skins, and much more. The iconic M41 SSR Rocket Launcher seems to make an appearance, along with the Mark IV helmet, black/gold weapon skins, and a new space-themed setting, probably to be used in Forge mode.
Other recent Halo 5 updates included one this week that saw Big Team Battle mode added back into the fray, along with new maps. 343 Industries has also been busy banning players who have been found exploiting the game to acquire more REQ and XP points, changing SWAT mode in the process. The map Orion was also removed from public playlists after an exploit giving some players a significant advantage. The developer also promised to improve multiplayer spawn points and other exploits based on player feedback.
