Today, Bungie announced new content and changes for Destiny in two separate posts on Bungie.net. The update will add new exotic weapons and armor to the game, tweak weapon performance to better balance Crucible PvP, six new exotic weapons, and some changes to the Titan class.
Community Manager David Dague says that Destiny will receive a new batch of exotics in December. Two are exclusive to Year Two, while the others are upgraded versions of Year One exotics. "A couple of those Year One reprisals might even have some new surprises tucked away in their talent trees," Dague said in his post. In a separate post, Bungie Sandbox designer Jon Weisnewski described changes to the game’s gun types, including damage boosts for auto rifle base damage, damage decreases for pulse rifle base damage, and tweaks for hand cannons and shotguns.
Bungie plans to start revealing the latest exotics on its Instagram, starting tomorrow, Nov. 20 The six exotic weapons that will see changes in Destiny's December update are The First Curse, Hawkmoon, The Chaperone, Fabian Strategy, Black Spindle and Sleeper Simulant.
The company is also looking making possible changes to Titans, including the Sunbreaker subclass. They aim to fulfill promises made about creating a use for “those vast stores of Etheric Light and Wormspore.”
