While there’s been no official confirmation from Nintendo, a brand new pearl white version of the 3DS XL seems to be on sale at Play-Asia. The listing claims that the 3DS XL will be in stock December 2015 and you can pre-order it for $240. According to Play-Asia:
A Pearl White version of the New Nintendo 3DS XL will be releasing with full NTSC U/C compatibility early December, 2015. The Pearl White color design has currently only been announced in Asia & Japan, with no word of a domestic US release.

Notably, Nintendo did not announce a release date for the device last week among the flurry of news about other Nintendo products. As previously reported, there are quite a few things in store for the company: the new female Link character Linkle in Hyrule Warriors Legends, the release of Pokémon Picross and Pokkén Tournament, the re-release of classic Pokémon games, a final release date for Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, and the upcoming Mega Man Legacy Collection.
Here’s hoping Nintendo plans to do more themed 3DS XL editions, like summer 2014’s Mario model.
