If you’re a Legend of Zelda fan with a 3DS, there’s no reason you shouldn’t get on the Hyrule Warriors Legends bandwagon. Today, Nintendo announced that the game will be available on March 25 for 3DS in North America. The game lets you play as classic favorites Tetra, Toon Link, and the King of Hyrule.

The company also revealed a new character: Linkle, the first official female version of Link. Brace yourselves, cosplayers.

Based on the two images of her that Nintendo released, it looks like she will dual wield crossbow weapons and have a spin kick attack like Link’s sword spin. She was first introduced to the canon in 2014 in an art book but has never appeared in a Zelda game until now.
Perhaps this will pave the way for an eventual Linkle game.
Today has been a big day for Nintendo, who also announced the brand new Pokémon Picross and revealed that Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow would be arriving for the 3DS in February in honor of the games’ twentieth anniversary. In a day already packed with Nintendo news, stay tuned to Gameranx and the official Nintendo Twitter for more updates on the company’s classic titles.
