A music video for Rise of the Tomb Raider featuring artist Karen O from Yeah Yeah Yeahs was released by Microsoft today.
The music video features an original song from O called “I Shall Rise” with b-roll of Rise of the Tomb Raider throughout. Much of the b-roll shows Lara in expectedly harsh conditions where she is in a constant fight for her life. A lot of the footage has been seen in previous trailers, but roughly halfway through the music video, we get a good look at what appears to be the main antagonist of the game. Lara sprouts from a sarcophagus, pistol in hand, hoping to get a jump on the antagonist and his crew.
Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released tomorrow, Nov. 10, in North America, or Nov. 13 in Europe, on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Many reviews were released today and the response to this entry in the rebooted franchise series has been very positive.
