Pelikan13 has released a new trailer and update for 90s Arcade Racer. Mercifully, development is winding down soon.
If it seems like the game has taken long, this may be partly because the game was promised a bit early for what it is. It originally came up on Kickstarter in January 2013, and Pelikan13 expected to finish development that same year.
Now it’s on its 35th month running, but Pelikan13 can say that development is finally winding down. As this trailer demonstrates, the AI and GUI are already operating in the game. Pelikan113 and Nicalis are now working on polishing, optimizing and bug fixing, and bringing in two player splitscreen and championship mode.
We still don’t have a final release date, but it’s gone forward enough that the developer is already pitching his next project, a 3D beatemup calledThe TakeOver. You can check out its Steam page here.
90s Arcade Racer will be releasing on Wii U, Windows, Linux, Mac OS X, Android, and iOS.
