Warner Bros Interactive has shared another update regarding the PC version of Batman Arkham Knight. Once again, it’s not the most welcome of news.
Recognizing that fans continue to be unsatisfied with the PC version still, Warner has confirmed they will be offering refunds via Steam for Batman Arkham Knight until the end of 2015.
If you bought the Season Pass, you have to ask for a refund of the game and the DLC together. This part sounds like a limitation caused by Steam instead of an imposition from Warner.
For those who are keeping the game, Warner promises to keep working on improving the game further. Perhaps ominously, Warner also commits to updating consumers, on what they are able to fix, and also what they may not be able to.
It sounds like consumers may be best served if Warner had the PC version rebuilt from the ground up. However, it seems Warner is facing budget limits, and it’s not hard to imagine them having already invested so much in fixing the game.
Still, if Warner opts not to fix the game completely, they would have doomed the PC version to the digital bargain bin.
Here’s a question to consider. Assuming you’re taking Warner’s side instead of the consumers’, would you limit your fixes to Batman Arkham Knight under budget, or do everything you can to fix all the issues? Tell us what you would do in the comments.
