Weeks before launch, you can get a look at the controls for Bethesda’s highly anticipated next entry in the Fallout franchise. Reddit user kaybrian noticed the controls in the Xbox One Smart Glass app. The image reveals that the new bash/power attack will be mapped to the RB shoulder button at default. Interestingly, there is no “wait” button seen in these controls, leaving the small possibility open that this is no longer an available action. However, its absence in the controls most likely means that it will be available in the pause menu or through the Pip-Boy interface.
Bethesda has been heavily promoting its upcoming game. Last week, they held the Great War Sale, with almost all items in the Bethesda Store 20% off. They also unveiled the Ultimate Vault Dweller’s Survival Guide and the limited edition Art of Fallout 4 book. Waves of the difficult to obtain pip-boy edition also popped up, along with a limited edition wired Vault-Boy Xbox One controller. The game officially went gold this past Friday.
This also comes along with the news that disc copies of the PC version will require a partial Steam download, which according to Bethesda boss Pete Hines, has been the way the company has handled PC launches for about ten years or so.
Fallout 4 launches for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Tuesday, November 10.
