Microsoft has announced that the wireless adapter for Windows 10 has begun shipping to retailers today. The Xbox Wireless Adapter allows you to use your Xbox One controller on a PC without a micro-USB cable.
An adapter costs $24.99 and comes with a USB extender cable. It's compatible with both PC games and games stream from an Xbox One console. A single adapter supports eight controllers and up to four audio channels, you can use either four chat headsets or two stereo headsets.
The adapter can be purchased on its own or with an Xbox One controller as part of a $79.95 bundle.
While Xbox One controllers are supported, the peripheral is not compatible with Xbox 360 controllers.
