Today Ubisoft has released details on the Gold Edition of Anno 2205, the upcoming future-set RTS city building title arriving on PC early next month. Those who purchase the Gold Edition of the game will receive several additional goodies, including the Orbit expansion, the Tundra expansion, an art book in digital format, and a digital copy of the original soundtrack. The Tundra expansion will introduce a new environment, the the Vanha Plains, and new high tech aircraft to explore it, as well as character Esther Nylund. The Orbit expansion will push the game to the edges of space as the player launches a station into the great beyond. Both will be available for seperate purchase or part of the Season Pass for those who already own the Standard Edition.
Anno 2205 features an all new engine capable of facilitating metropolises on islands said to be five times bigger than any previous Anno title. A beta was previously expected for the game, but instead was cancelled and swapped out for pre-order bonuses. It comes out on November 3, 2015 on PC.
