If you haven't managed to get into the Battlefield 3 beta yet, here's a little eye candy to help tide you over. This new video from YouTube user jeffrsiden showcases us what the game looks like on the highest PC settings for a whopping twenty-three minutes.
The footage, recorded on the 64-man Caspian Border map, does a wonderful job showcasing the detailed environments and gameplay variety we can expect from DICE's latest. There's some tank combat, a worm's eye view of a jet dogfight, some infantry skirmishes, and even a little relaxed sightseeing thrown in for good measure.
So just how good does the game look on Ultra settings? Pretty fantastic. Hell, that lens flare alone is pretty enough to put most other games to shame. I know looks aren't everything, but damn.
Battlefield 3 kicks off its staggered worldwide launch this October 25 in North America for the PS3, 360, and PC. Australia and Europe will be getting the game a few days later, on October 27 and 28 respectively.
