The Witcher 3: Hearts of Stone is the game's first expansion pack. Today, CD Projekt Red has released its launch trailer ahead of its release next week.
The expansion's storyline follows Geralt of Rivia as he travels to a new location after taking a contract to defeat a bandit captain named Olgierd von Everec. Much like the core game, all the choices the player makes throughout the expansion will have an impact on the outcome at the end.
Hearts of Stone is set to contain at least ten hours of content, which includes new characters and monsters and a romance with Shani, whom players might remember from previous titles in the series
Keep in mind that you will not need to complete the base game to play Hearts of Stone, so have at it.
The expansion will be out on October 13 for all platforms.
