Indie studio Fatshark has released the third of five promotional videos for its upcoming game Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, which showcases the gameplay from each of the game's five playable heroes.
The latest video focuses on the Empire Soldier, Marcus Kruber. His backstory casts him as a war-weary soldier who lost his entire regiment to horrifying death magic, who returns from the warzone to his native home of Ubersreik, when he finds employment in the service of Victor Saltzpyre, a Witch Hunter of the Order. His job was to assist the Witch Hunter in the escort of a Bright Wizard prisoner to Ubersreik. Little did they know that the city would be overrun by overgrown rat-men.
In Vermintide, players will take on the roles of the five characters who must band together with their different playstyles and abilities and work together to defeat the relentless hordes of Skaven across a wide range of environments.
The game will be out on PC on October 23. You can pre-purchase it on Steam.
