Retailer Target may have revealed the PS4 will be getting a $50 price cut, at least in the US.
The store's website lists the console as "now" being available for $349.99, instead of the usual $399.99 which it has been since the system launched in November 2013.
Sony recently cut the price of the PS3 in Japan and Xbox boss Phil Spencer has said he expects to see a PS4 price cut in the West this month as well.
If there is a price cut coming, it will most likely be announced during Sony's Paris Games Week conference at the end of the month. There was no PlayStation press conference at gamescom this year, with Sony instead option to bypass the August convention for the Paris show on October 27th.
